HOW DOES LASER HAIR REMOVAL AND ELECTROLYSIS WORK?
The laser heats up the pigment in your hair, causing it to disable the follicle. Laser treatments occur every 2-3 months for a short period of time, and each treatment leaves you looking more and more hair-free.

Electrolysis is essentially the same thing, only it is performed with electricity one hair at a time. It allows for greater detail, and can be a weekly event until the area is cleared, and then every other week for a longer period, to ensure limited regrowth. If there is additional hair growth due to an elevated level of male hormones, there may be a need for maintenance treatments.

Because laser hair removal works on pigment to be effective, blonde, gray and white hairs will not respond to laser, but can be treated with electrolysis. Waxing is a faster, cheaper option, but is not permanent and will require continuous treatments to maintain a smooth hair-free appearance.
